Next Face-to-Face Steering Committee and Advisory Council Meeting April 23, 2009

We will hold our First Quarter ePrescribe Florida meeting on Thursday, April 23’rd from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The meeting will be hosted by BCBSF at their main campus facility near UNF. Please extend a warm thank you to BCBSF for hosting our meeting. Please note the new meeting format. To make travel easier and less costly, we are reducing our meeting time down to a single day and starting the meeting at 11:00 and ending at 5:00 Attached please find a list of hotels near the BCBSF facility located at 4800 Deerwood Campus Parkway, Jacksonville FL, 32246..

ePrescribe Florida will be working with our Steering Committee and Advisory Council members and the Florida prescribing community to provide educational assistance and a speakers bureau to discuss and present the ePrescribing opportunity at professional and staff meetings, forums, and conference events.

ePrescribe Florida hosted it's first Summit this fall on November 30 - December 2, 2007 at the Hilton Downtown Disney. The program and more information will be posted on August 27, 2007. Go to our Summit information page and download all the materials and presentations from the Summit.

This activity was planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The goal of the Summit was to to provide prescribers and other stakeholders with educational sessions, breakout discussions, and through the vendor fair and exhibition, access to the leading electronic prescribing vendors in our state.

Over 180 participants attended the event representing a wide range of the ePrescribing Stakeholder Community.

Lunch and Learn Series

Next Face-to-Face Steering Committee and Advisory Council Meeting March 31 - April 1
The meeting is open to all Steering Committee and Advisory Council members. The meeting is being hosted by the Florida Hospital Association and will be held at their Orlando Office located at: 307 Park Lake Circle, Orlando FL, 32803.. Download the proposed Draft Meeting Agenda.

Dinner and Learn to be held on March 19 in Orlando.
ePrescribe Florida, will host another Dinner and Learn session with the Florida Medical Association, the Orange County Medical Society, and Humana on March 19, 2008.
